Adventures in a Magic Caravan!
We have got a Magic Caravan in the Rainbow Room. It is an old gypsy caravan and is pulled along by a horse. Mrs Gearing came to tell us about how to look after her horse Paddy. We found out about what it was like to live in a caravan and made our own little models. Sometimes when we are working the caravan begins to glow. This means that it is time for an adventure.
The caravan took us to London where we saw lots of famous landmarks. We liked finding out about what happened at the Tower of London if you were naughty. While we were learning about the Great Fire of London the Magic Caravan took us to visit Samuel Pepys and we found out lots of interesting facts. We made pictures of the wooden houses.
Next the caravan took us to France and we learnt about the famous parts of Paris. We found out about French food and learnt a few French words. We tasted lots of different types of cakes and bread but didn't get to try some snails and frog's legs!
Now the caravan has taken us to China. We have been doing lots of maths work about 2D shapes and have been trying to solve some Chinese Tangram puzzles.
